January 28, 2013: This Friday, Febuary 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. the Petaluma Health Center will offer uninsured children free preventative care and exams as part of its "Give Kids A Smile" event.
According to Petaluma 360, an on-line news source: parents who take their children to receive care will also be given dental health tips and ideas to prevent childhood cavities. The services are intended for children "from low income and/or uninsured families...who don’t have a regular dentist or dental clinic." To schedule an appointment, call (707) 559-7550.
The following week, on Saturday Febuary 9, Petaluma Dental Group will offer free exams and dental sealants (see story below) to uninsured children between the ages of 3 and 18.
