The conference, which will include a transitional kindergarten strand of sessions, will be keynoted by Peggy Campbell-Rush, a 30-year-veteran teacher -- as were her mother and her grandmother before her -- and author of I Teach Kindergarten: A Treasure Chest of Teaching Wisdom.
Among her many accomplishments and awards, Campbell-Rush also is a Fulbright Fellow who studied with Nobel Peace Prize, South Africa's Archbishop Desmond Tutu. She will be speaking on how humor helps "motivate our resilience."
