March 12, 2013: The Professional Association for Childhood Education (PACE) 2013 "Leadership Summit Advance" conference is scheduled for April 26-27 in Monterey.
Key topics for attendees will be "Operating Techniques to Rise Above the Mandated Business Costs in Child Care Centers" and "Early Childhood Education: The Hardest Job in the World to Do Right."
Advocate and author Nell Melino (at left) is founder and president of Count Me In for Women's Economic Independence, a national not-for-profit provider of resources for women-owned microbusinesses. Merlino is also a member of the U.S. Department of State Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy (ACIEP) and served as a pathways envoy for the U.S. State Department.
